Wesley Legg Skeeters married Rutha Ann Tindall in Limestone County,Alabama. They moved to Nacogdoches County somewhere in the late 1850's. I would not be surprised to know that he and his family came to Texas with my Great-Grandfather David Meadow Haney. He came to Texas sometime in 1858 according to the births in his family. (One child was born in 1857 in Limestone county, Alabama and the next child was born in November 1858.in Nacogdoches, County, Texas) Wesley's third child Eliza, married my Grandfather. After Rutha died Wesley married Martha A. (maiden name unknown) in about 1916. Wesley served in the civil War in Co. H, 4th Regt., Texas Cavalry. Confedeerate Mortuary Warrant # 638 *25: He was discharged in 1865 with pension #29790.
