John was born July 9, 1959, to Melvin and Jean (Polden) Anderson. He graduated from North High School in 1978, and he enjoyed being the owner of a successful carpet cleaning and restoration company.
John was a doting and loving husband, father and grandfather. His sense of humor and passion for his family were unrivaled. John was famous for his ability to brighten the mood under any circumstance. His greatest joys revolved around spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, close friends, and many nieces and nephews: traveling, watching his beloved Packers, or quietly socializing at home. In 2006, John became a grandfather. He enjoyed a special bond and love for storytelling with his grandson.
John’s undeniable charm and work ethic led to many loyal clients. He took great pride in his business, which he worked to grow substantially throughout the last years of his life.
John is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Theresa; his children, Lindsey (Andrea), Lucas, and Lauren; his grandchildren, Jack, Isabella and Cecilia; his sister, Karolynne (Dan) Duffenbach; brother, Allen (Sally) Anderson; brothers-in-law, Tom (Leni) Cramer and Andrew (Sara) Cramer; sisters-in-law, Toni (Randy) Volbrecht and Sara Cramer; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin; his mother, Jean; and his brother-in-law, Tim Cramer.
Funeral services will take place at 11 am onTuesday, June 9, 2015, at Harvestime Church, 3625 Southwind Dr. in Eau Claire, with Pastors Brad Crocker and Kim Buckman officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, June 8, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
