Mrs. Wagaman of Bogard

Mrs. Maud L. Wagaman, 74, Bogard, died Thursday at the Carroll County Memorial hospital in Carrollton.

She was born Feb. 2 1903 in Anna, Tex., the daughter of James E. and Mertilda Jane Crigger Crockett. She attended the Powell school. On April 21, 1926 she was married to Roscoe Wagaman in Carrollton. She was a member of the Church of Christ and had been employed by Banquet Foods in Carrollton 12 years.

Survivors of Mrs. Wagaman include her husband, Roscoe, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Gene Stark, Carrollton and Mrs. Arthur Cook, Homosassa Springs, Fla.; a son Glen Ray Wagaman. Oak Grove; brother, Charlie Crockett, New London, Ia.; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Gibson-Rice Funeral Chapel in Bogard, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Thompson.

Burial will be in the Mt. Zion cemetery at Bogard.

The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 o’clock at the funeral chapel.
