Lillian Marie Jones age 87 of Thomaston Ga, died Thursday January 8, 2015 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Jones was born on August 22, 1927 in Taylor County Ga, to the late Franklin and Hallie Belle Moore. She was formerly employed with Martha Mills where she worked in the spinning room for many years. Mrs. Jones was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sons David Johnson, Jack Johnson, Billy Johnson, sister Doris Horne, grandchild and 2 great grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters Mrs. Janice Cleveland of Oxford N.C., Mrs. Geraldine (Donald Walker) Johnson of Thomaston Ga, sons Mr. Tracy (Patricia) Johnson of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Randy (Debra) Johnson of Thomaston Ga. 10 Grandchildren. 30 Great Grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Upson Cancer Car c/o Mr. Carey Pitts at 300 Upson Ave. Thomaston Ga. 30286. The family may be contacted at her sons residence at 196 Oak Forest Dr. Thomaston Ga. 30286. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 17, 2015 at 11:00 at North side Baptist Church.
