Nancy Katherine Freeman Nix, 95, of Athens, died May 25, 2015. Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Grover C. & Carzzie Williams Freeman. She was retired from Cannon Mills & was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Victor C. Nix. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Danielsville Old City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Lord & Stephens, WEST is in charge of arrangements.
