Mrs. F.E. Rader Compliments Young Woman at Miscellaneous Event
ETIWANDA, Feb. 19 - Mrs. F.E. Rader complimented Miss Mabel Perdew with a miscellaneous shower Saturday afternoon. Friends of Miss Perdew assembled in her honor and enjoyed a delightful afternoon and presented her with many beautiful gifts. Flinch was the principal game played. Light refreshments were served before the young women departed for their homes. Mrs. Rader was assisted by Mrs. C.H. Jones and Mrs. A.A. Werner.

James Gamon and Miss Mabel Perdew left for Los Angeles Wednesday, the eighteenth, where they were married. On their return from a brief honeymoon trip, they will make their home in Etiwanda. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Perdew and is a native daughter of Etiwanda. The groom came here from Tennessee a few years ago and has made his home with his sister, Mrs. Luther Wattenbarger. She shares with the bride the esteem of the community and all wish them life-long happiness.

ONTARIO, March 13 - James H. Gammon, former resident of Etiwanda and well known throughout the West End, died today at the home of his brother-in-law, E. (Earnest) E. Perdew, 603 East Orange Street, Monrovia, at the age of 32. He had been ill for some time.
Mr. Gammon is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Mabel Perdew; a small daughter, Regina; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Gammon residing in Tennessee; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Eattenberger of Cucamonga; and two brothers, Claude Gammon of Hermosa Beach and William Gammon of Los Angeles.
Mr. Gammon was a member of the Elks and the Ontario Lodge is to be in charge of the funeral services which will be held at Draper's chapel Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in Bellevue, Cemetery.

Mabel married, second, Robert Andres, probably in 1930.
