When my uncle - George W. Betz - was born August 5, 1908, his father, John Anthony Betz Sr, was 25 and his mother, Mary T. Betz, was 20. He had one son Harry Michael Betz (deceased) and one daughter Anna Betz with Anna Froney Smith (1911-1978) between 1927 and 1931.

OCCUPATION: According to Census Reports and Baltimore City Directory via Ancestry.com, he may have been a Stone Cutter in a marble yard. This info may not be correct, as it might refer to another/different George Betz/Betts.

George W Betz had two siblings Dorothy E. Betz (married Lind) and Herman John Betz. He also had four half siblings with stepmother -Hazel Alverta (Vain) Betz: Elaine "Big Elaine" Margaret (Betz) Hughes - my mother, Hazel Betz, John Anthony "Butch/Tony" Betz Jr., and Herbert Chester "Sonny" Betz Sr.

George W. Betz went to Heaven when he was age 57.

NOTE: As of this date, I have not been able to locate a FindAGrave Memorial for Anna (Froney Smith) Betz, the first wife of George W. Betz. I may have to create a Memorial for her and then add her link here and on her three children's Memorial pages. I also have not been able to find out what Mary Betz (George's mother) maiden was.
