Mrs. L. Eleanora Reem, 95, died at 3:45 a.m., January 30, 2006, in Rosewood Nursing Home.
She was born March 30, 1910 in Galesburg, the daughter of Carl Emil and Ellen Johnson Peterson. She married Victor R. Reem on October 28, 1945 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1984.
She was preceded in death by her only son, P. Dean Reem in 2003, and one brother.
She farmed along with her husband in North Henderson, and had lived her entire life in North Henderson and Galesburg. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in North Henderson, where she was involved with the ladies aid and the church circle. Eleanora was loved by her many friends and family.
Funeral proceded the following friday at 2 p.m. in the HPW chapel in Galesburg with visitation preceding the burial. She was laid to rest in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg, next to her beloved husband.
