13 Aug 1914: John P. Arnold, of North Avenue and Tenth Street, died Wednesday afternoon from senile debility, after being in failing health for the past several months. He was aged 80 years. He is survived by the following children: Paul at home; Raymond of Easton; Howard of Reading; the Misses Frances and Gertrude at home; and Mrs. Sarah Smith of Altoona; and one sister, Mrs. Pierce Thompson. Solemn Requiem High Mass to be held at St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, and interment to follow in the St. Marys Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
