Hazel Staker Brinkerhoff, 74, passed away January 27, 1997.

Born February 23, 1922 in Farnum, Idaho to Joseph Ether and Matilda Young Stolworthy Staker. Married Myron Hugh "Mike" Brinkerhoff, February 16, 1945. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, December 1958. He passed away, September 6, 1957. After the early passing of Mike, she devoted her time and love to her children, who loved and will truly miss her. Active member LDS Church. Member DUP, Gardner Mill Chapter. Retired following 20 years with the Granite School District.

Survivors: sons, Blake (Charlotte) Brinkerhoff of Big Piney, Wyoming; Dennis (Sherie) Brinkerhoff of Taylorsville; Chuck (Denise) Brinkerhoff of Salt Lake City; sisters, Nina (George) Brinkerhoff and Libby Proctor of Bountiful; Ruby Klingler of Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Saturday, February 1, 1997, 12 noon, Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Friday evening, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, 448 E. 400 South, SLC 84111.
