Dorothy was born April 18, 1913 in Stanley, North Dakota the daughter of Glen and Margie (Flatt) Standley. In the early 1920's she moved to Blackduck, MN with her family. She moved to the Lebanon area in 1931. She lived in McMinnville, OR for thirty years before moving back to the Lebanon area.
Dorothy was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, enjoyed wintering in Yuma, AZ, artwork, seamstress work and playing piano, organ and keyboard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Chalmers, daughter, Janice Blevins, two brothers, Donald and Roy Standley and a sister, Marian Myran.
She is survived by sons, John Brown of Lebanon and Robert Brown of Madras, three brothers, Bob Standley of Salem, Tom Standley of Lebanon and Dick Standley of Vancouver, WA, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Graveside service at the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery Columbarium.
