Michael John Hoover, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2006. Born in Albany, N.Y. on June 24, 1984. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Barden, Chatham; his father, Michael Edward Hoover and stepmother, Shane Morgan, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.;a sister, Emily Barden-Connor, Chatham; a brother, Zion Hoover, Ft. Lauderdale; his grandparents, John and Elizabeth Barden, Spencertown; his grandmother, Lois Hoover, Niskayuna; his great-grandfather, Edwin E. Barden, Spencertown; his Aunt Theresa Barden, Copake Falls, Aunt Carole and Uncle Eric; cousins, Ethan and Dylan Rosen, Clifton Park; Uncle Bud and Aunt Chris; cousin, Samantha Barden, Spencertown; Uncle Tim and Aunt Michelle; cousins, Samantha and Chase Crawford; Uncle Larry and Aunt Margaret Scotto, Uncle Doug and Aunt Mary Quell, all of the tri city area; his great-aunts and uncles, Barbara Arzt, Denham Springs, La., Mary O'Connor, Chatham, Wally Hoover, Richard and Danielle Powell, William and Charlene Powell, Evelyn Powell and Ellen Powell, all of the tri city area. He was predeceased by his great-grandmother, Virginia Barden. He is survived by many cousins. Michael loved rock music and had worked with his Uncle Bud as a carpenter. Family will receive friends at the French, Gifford, Preiter and Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham Wednesday, June 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gary Gelfenbien at Saint James Church, Chatham, Thursday 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
