Robert was born in Milwaukee, Wis.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard onboard the Buoy Tender Primrose.
He retired as a powerhouse operating engineer from Pabst Brewing Co. in Peoria Heights, Ill.
Robert is survived by his son, David (Lorrie); and daughters, Susan (Leon) Gordon and Nancy Edelson.
He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Lillian; and his son, Robert Jr. (Martha).
Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo, Fla.
