Madelyn O Dowd, 80, Granby, died at 11:10pm Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Freeman Neosho Hospital. She was born May 23, 1926 in Ottawa Co, OK, to Dave and Alice (Frazier) DuShane.
Mrs Dowd lived in CA for 20 years, but lived most of her life in the SW Missouri area. She was a cook at a truck stop in Seneca, MO for many years and was in property management in CA for many years. She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary and a member of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe.

Additional survivors include 7 children, Richard Rosenow, Granby, MO; Mary Pounds, Kingman, AZ; Sandi Probst, Garden Grove, CA; Allen Rosenow, Duluth, GA; Kathi Lewis, Granby, MO; Annette Stingley, Granby, MO; and Mary Ada Nearing, Everett, WA; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
