My Grand Aunt, Ruth Adeline (Blair) Compton, Adamek, Weatherbee was the daughter of William Charles Blair and Frances Anna (Burnett) Hodnett. Sister to my maternal Grandmother, Nellie Lee (Blair) Nelson; Grace Beatrice (Blair) Brooks, Weatherbee, Moore, Schmidt and half sister to Mary Elizabeth (Hodnett) Hansen and Isabell May (Hodnett) Neville, Winters.

Ruth never had any children, but she and Al had a foster son, Robert Geese, who went by Bobby Weatherbee. Her older sister, Grace's 2nd husband was Claude Lowell Weatherbee, who died in 1937. Claude was the older brother of Ruth's husband, Albert Edward Weatherbee.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth A. Weatherbee, 65, of 213 N.W. 105th St., who died unexpectedly yesterday, will be at 3 o'clock Friday in the Evans-Cummings chapel, with burial in Washelli.
Mrs. Weatherbee was born in Louisville, Ky., coming here in 1909. Her parents, the William Blairs, were early Greenwood District residents. Mrs. Weatherbee was one of the first pupils at Greenwood School.
Mrs. Weatherbee was an employe of the Frayn Printing Co. 25 years.
Survivors are her husband, Albert E.; a son, Robert Weatherbee, Seattle, and four sisters, Mrs. James Nelson and Mrs. Mary Hansen, both of Seattle, Mrs. William Schmidt, Pasadena, Calif. and Mrs. William Neville, Whittier, Calif.
