Mrs. Henry Lind, 65, a pioneer resident of Brantwood, died at the Sacred Heart hospital in Tomahawk, Wednesday, July 30. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage.
Funeral services were held at the Nick & Sons funeral home in Tomahawk at 2:00 p. m., Friday, Aug. 2. Burial was made in Greenwood cemetery in Tomahawk. Pallbearers were Arne Anderson, Eino Anderson, Edwin Anderson, Julius Anderson, Oscar Laakso and Kalle Heikkinen.
Hilda Eliina Anderson was born in Halsualla Vaasanlaani, Finland, July 25, 1892. She came to the United States with her parents in 1896 and the family settled in Cambria, Wyoming. Later the family moved to Brantwood. She was married to Henry Lind in April, 1912.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Henry; two sons, Taisto and Oliver, of Brantwood; a daughter Myrtle (Mrs. Norbert Erickson), of Chicago; four sisters residing in Chicago, and five brothers living in Brantwood. Also surviving are six grandchildren.
