Clark Allen Whitehead was born February 13, 1952 to Cecil and Althea (Lucas) Whitehead in Fairmont, Minnesota. He attended and later was a 1970 Graduate of Welcome High School. On July 9, 1970 he entered the United States Navy receiving his basic training at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Chicago. He served his time aboard the USS Haleakala. On August 2, 1974 he received his honorable discharge. He then returned to the Fairmont area where he was employed at the Railway Motors in Fairmont for over twenty-five years. Clark enjoyed music and especially playing his harmonica and also working with and riding his horses.

Clark died on Monday afternoon, May 16, 2005 at his home in Fairmont, Minnesota at the age of fifty-three years.

Daniel Whitehead and his wife, Sherry, of Rock Falls, Wisconsin, Nathan Whitehead and his wife, Mary, of rural Sherburn, Minnesota, David Whitehead and his wife, Sierri, of rural Fairmont, Minnesota, Douglas Whitehead and his wife, Eileen, of Bloomington, Minnesota; sister, Julie Sukalski and her husband, Roger, of Sherburn, Minnesota; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Clark was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Whitehead; grandparents, Mortimer and Agnes Whitehead and Milo and Sylvia Lucas and other relatives.
