EIDSON -Della Jane Begley, 71, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday morning (May 29, 2002) at her residence after an extended illness.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rufus Begley; parents, Robert Jones and Della Cody Jones; two brothers, Steve Jones and Earnest Jones; and four sisters, Virginia Alvis, Oma Ferrell, Mildred Albright and Edna Begley.
Surviving are two sons, Fred Begley and wife, Norma of Rogersville and Carl Begley and wife, Gloria of Mooresburg; one daughter, Imogene Harvey and husband, Calvin of Eidson; seven grandchildren, Brian Begley, Jason Begley, Andy Begley, Della Jean Petty, Jamie Begley, Robert Begley and Amanda Harvey; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Colboch-Price Funeral Home in Rogersville.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Roger Lamb and the Rev. Larry Lamb officiating.
Interment will be in the Begley Cemetery.
