Clifford Guy Osburn, Sr. was born May 11, 1937, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Guy and Ruby May (Barton) Osburn. He passed away April 3, 2015, at the age of 77 years.

He graduated from high school in May of 1956 and attended the University of Tulsa for one year.


Cliff married Linda Kay Morgan February 14, 1958 in Tulsa and started working for the Tulsa Fire Department in 1963. He also owned and operated Osburn Home Improvements for twenty-six years, contracting with FHA. He was a board member and volunteer for the Whitehorn Fire Department and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wagoner. Cliff enjoyed bowling and won many tournaments. The last several years, he bowled in a league in Muskogee. Cliff also loved watching sprint car racing and was very proud of his corvett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Gary and Tommy Osburn.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home in Wagoner; his children, Clifford Guy Osburn, Jr. of Wagoner and Kimberly Susan Osburn of Claremore, Oklahoma; grandsons, Cody Alan Smith and wife Meagan of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cole Ray Smith of Claremore, Oklahoma; great grandchild, Haylee May Smith of Tulsa; sister, Kathy Jackson and husband Billy of Wagoner and many other family and friends.
