Funeral For Mr. Laughlin Thursday At 4
Will Be From St. Clement's Church - Herald To Close At 3
Funeral services for the late W. M. Laughlin, advertising manager of The Herald, have been set tentatively for 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Dr. John Laughlin, brother of Mrs. Laughlin will arrive some time Wednesday and J. C. Wilmarth, general manager of The Herald, will arrive Wednesday afternoon from Dallas.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Fuller Swift, rector of St. Clement's Episcopal church, and will be held from the church at 4 o'clock sharp.
The Herald offices will close at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon out of respect for the deceased and in order that employees of the paper may attend the funeral.
While Mr. Laughlin had been apparently in good health, he had known for several months that he might expect death soon, as a medical examination last October assured him that he had developed Bright's disease in a severe form.
