Mr. Miller was born in Princeton on November 11, 1930, the son of Henry A. and Louise (Jacobs) Miller. He married Helen Mae Lorey at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Streator on September 20, 1952. Mrs. Miller died on April 18, 1994.
Mr. Miller was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Ottawa Township High School and attended LaSalle Peru Oglesby Junior College. He was a member of the Occidental Lodge 40 AF & AM in Ottawa and the Glassworkers Local 19. He was a former and honorary member of the Naplate Fire Department and a former village trustee. He was one of the original members of Variety Riders. He retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford.
He is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Michael) White, Donna (Steve) Miller, and Brends (Harry) Donnelly, all of Ottawa; by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
