Frank Eugene Bonnin was born in Oregon to Francis L. Bonnin and Fern C. Hutchins.His parents divorced when he was young and his daughter said his father knelt down, gave him a hammer and got on a train-was the last time he ever saw his father.
He was married twice to Ollie Belle Williams and the second time was on December 16, 1949.
