Elizabeth suffered a fatal heart attack at her ranch in Springtown, Tx.
During her life, Liz was well known for her expert canning skills. She often competed in the county fair in the home canning division and very often won numerous canning awards for jellies, jams, and canned vegetables. A crowning achievement for Liz was to win the Colorado State Fair canning competition, receiving the title of Queen of the Kitchen at the State Fair. Liz was an ardent supporter of 4-H groups and the youth involved in 4-H. She regularly donated her time, skills, and financial assistance to the county 4-H groups. Liz was involved in both youth canning and livestock projects in 4-H. She was also very proud of her livestock skills including raising Brahma bulls and racehorses. On their ranch in Texas, Liz raised many racehorses and would always enjoy a day of racing at the horse track.

Liz is survived by her husband Tommy Mills, daughters Christi Lynch-Healy and Tina Lynch, Stepson Clifford Mills, grandchildren Cassie, Kallie, and Cooper, and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held on April 30, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1318 Mapleton Avenue, Boulder, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Liz Lynch Mills to the Boulder County 4-H Foundation, youth awards for canning and livestock projects in Boulder and Adams Counties. Boulder County 4-H Foundation, 9595 Nelson Road Box B, Longmont, CO 80503.
