Delvina C. "Peggy" Cheney was born October 17, 1913 to Jesse and Violet (Koons) Cheney in Rice County, Minnesota. She attended and later graduated from Northfield High School. On December 20, 1958, Peggy was united in marriage to Arden Rosenwinkel in Elko, Nevada. After their marriage, they lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho until moving to Minnesota in 1964. They lived in Trimont, Minnesota. Arden died on August 30, 1976. Peggy was employed part-time at the Trimont Liqour Store. She made her home at Monterey Manor in 2004. Peggy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Trimont. She greatly enjoyed reading, bowling, working outside and hunting and fishing. Peggy loved her family and her dog "Teddy."

Peggy died on Thursday morning, February 16, 2006 at the Trimont Health Care Center in Trimont, Minnesota at the age of ninety-two years.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Rosenwinkel and his wife, Lynda, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Stephen Rosenwinkel Jr.of Alexandria, Louisianna and Staci Smith and her husband, Stacy, of Colorado Springs,Colorado; one great-grandchild, Ryan; niece, Donna Freeman of Dundas, Minnesota and nephew, Gary Cheney of Northfield, Minnesota; great-grandniece, Nada Oanes of Trimont, Minnesota and other relatives and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arden Rosenwinkel; brothers, Ray and Earl Cheney; nephew, Larry Cheney and other relatives.
