SPRINGFIELD - Stanley Alani of Springfield died May 20 of cancer at age 70. No service is planned.
He was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Hookena, Hawaii. He married Surinthia Vincent on July 31, 1959.
He had served in the Marines and worked as a steam roller operator on asphalt projects.
Survivors include five sons, Vic, Sid and Stacey, all of Springfield, Steve of Portland and Sam of Cottage Grove; two daughters, Serena Alani of Portland and Shelly Alani of Springfield; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
His wife and a daughter, Surinthia, both died previously.
