Benjamin Martin was born January 12, 1659 at Oyster River, Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire to John and Esther Roberts Martin. He married Margaret Reynolds October 24, 1680 at Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey and their children were: Joseph, Benjamin Jr., Samuel, Esther, Benjamin (again), Martha and Jonathan (#17936635). After the death of Margaret, Benjamin married Margaret Elston November 10, 1688 at Piscataway and their children were: Mary, Peter and Margaret. Benjamin had the title of Deacon. He died at the age of seventy-three March 2, 1732 in Piscataway and is buried there, but the cemetery is unknown.
