He was born July 19, 1918, in Bullskin Township, a son of William G. Geary and the late Mary Frieburg Geary. He had formely been employed by General Motors Corporation. He was a U.S. Navy, WW II veteran and a member of the Walter E. Brown Post VFW. He survived, in addition to his father, by four sons, Wade S. Geary Jr., (WHICH HAS TO BE FROM ANOTHER MARRIAGE OTHER THAN WITH MY GRAM EVA JEAN KENNEDY), formerly of Connellsville; Wade R. Geary of Buffalo, N.Y., Thomas Geary of Arcade, N.Y., and William Geary of Rochester; five grandchildren; two brothers, Homer of Rochester, N.Y., and Eugene of Powell, Wyo., and one sister, Mrs. Gerald (Edith) Tyree of Canoga Park, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; two brothers, Roy and Carl, and a sister, Miss Hazel Geary. He died September 26, 1976. Brooks Funeral Home - Frank Dean officiating the service. Buried at the Knopsnider Cemetery.
