Syble Louise Foley Sharp Smith, 66, of Heber Springs, died at her home June 1, 2006. She was born January 7, 1940 to David Leroy Foley (New Albany, MS) and the late Mattie Lee Foley. She retired from the West Memphis School District after 24 years teaching 3rd grade at Dabbs and Faulk Elementary. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Memphis, TN, a member of ADK teachers sorority, and had a love for gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Sharp. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Smith, Sr. of Heber Springs, AR; son, Dr. Richard Sharp (Stella) of Texarkana, TX; daughter, Andrea Trent (David) of Little Rock, AR; brother, Gerald Foley (Barbara) of Kansas City, MO; extended family, Robert Smith, Jr. of Signal Mountain, TN, Regina Culbertson of Vancover, WA, Kathryn Smith of Hartsell, AL; four grandchildren and six step-grandchildren, countless relatives and friends.
