Raymond L. Tate, 84, of Danville, passed away April 8, 2015. He was born in Danville, Auguat 4, 1930, to Archie Whitt Tate, Sr. and Emma Ada Mills Tate. He was also predeceased by four brothers, Jack E. Tate, Archie W. Tate Jr., Julian H. Tate, and Eugene C. Tate; a sister, Nancy T. Walton.
He served as a U.S. Marine during the Korean Conflict and owned and operated the Dairy Heart on Riverside Drive during the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Heurvived by wife Geraldine Morris Tate; sons, Steven Tate (Connie), Kenneth Tate and Darrell Tate; four grandchildren; sister, Doris T. Abbott.
Burial will be in Highland Burial Park.
