Mr. Kenny D. Anderson, age 59 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Kenny was born on May 29, 1955 in Pratt, Kansas the son of G. Dale and Marilyn D. Rayburn Anderson. He was married on August 12, 1982 in Jefferson City, Mo. to Donna Stone.
Kenny was a 1973 graduate of Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Mo.
He was employed as a freight conductor with Union Pacific Railroad for over twenty years. After his work with Union Pacific, Kenny worked at Riley Chevrolet in their customer service department.
He enjoyed deer hunting and was a flea market "picker" and lover of music. Kenny's main passion was barbecuing because he loved telling stories around friends and family.
Survivors include: one daughter, Casey Anderson Marsch and her husband Ryan of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, Jacob Parrish of Miramar, Florida; his mother, Marilyn D. Anderson of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Kelly Anderson and his wife Kim of Columbia, Mo. and Donald Anderson and his wife Kristin of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Becky Anderson Alley and her husband Gary of Kansas City, Mo.; one niece, Kelsey Anderson of Kansas City, Mo.; and one nephew, Nick Anderson of Columbia, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father and one son, Donald Luke Anderson on January 1, 1984.
A Celebration of Kenny's Life will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in the Side Bar at Prison Brews, 305 Ash Street, Jefferson City, Mo. 65101, with his visitation immediately following from 3:30 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
