MADISON - The funeral service for Mrs. Edward Wohlez of Madison, who died Friday at the Madison Manor nursing home, will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Madison. Burial will be in Number Eight Cemetery, east of Madison.

Memorial contributions may be made to the nursing home and contributions may be sent to the funeral home.

Helen M. Perrine was born July 14, 1893, at Monmouth, Ill, the daughter of Edward and Harriett Kelly Perrine. She moved back to Madison from Tulsa in 1986.

She married Cecil V. Durant on Feb. 14, 1917, at Valley Falls. He died June 23, 1949. She married Edward Wohletz on Feb. 4, 1953. He died April 10, 1979.

Mrs. Wohletz is survived by four daughters, Anieta Wasson of Odessa, Tex., Mildred Lister of Augusta, Norma Harlan of Madison and Patricia Shaffer of Tulsa, two stepsons, Hardy Wohletz and Walter Wohletz, both of Effingham, a stepdaughter, Bertilla Zeltner of Everest; nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Her son, Edward William Durant, her sister, Bernadette Movinski, and one grandson died earlier.

Mrs. Wohletz was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Atchison.
