Frances Adams, 89, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Frances was born November 15, 1925, in Toledo, to Thomas and Eugenia (Chase) Stamos.A graduate of Scott High School she went on to work at Toledo Scales when she met her beloved husband and love of her life, John. They married in 1949. Together, they had two children, John and Tim. Her family was her life. Frances loved nothing more than being at home raising her two sons. Once all grown, she went to work as a cashier at Waite High School for 29 years.Frances was a proud parishioner of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She enjoyed cooking, baking and leisurely drives with her husband.Frances is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, John; sons, John (Mary) and Tim (Pam); grandchildren, Zachary, Sebastian, Briana, Jason, Jacob and Jenna, and great-granddaughters, Kennady and Caroline. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Katherine Wolfe (Eddie) and Jenny Zervas (Spiro), and brother, Peter Stamos (Petula).The family will receive visitors Wednesday, April 1st, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads), where Trisagion service will be at 7:45 p.m. Funeral services will begin at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 740 N. Superior St., on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family requests in lieu of flowers to consider a donation to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.ansberg-west.com
