A native Yorker, he was the son -of the late John P. and Debbie Badders Wolf. Mr. Wolf was a sergeant in the U.S. Army and a veteran of World War I. He was also a retired factory superintendent of the York-Hoover Corporation and a member of York Post 127, American Legion.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph H. Wolf Jr., 2510 Schoolhouse Lane, and Jack W. Wolf, 226 N. Gotwalt St.; five grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Wolf, 1104 E. Market St., and Harry M. Wolf, 729 Oatman St.; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Wambaugh, Dallastown RD 1, and Mrs. Samuel R. Seitz, Felton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E Market St. The Rev. George R. Knarr, pastor of St. Marks Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in 1 Greenmount Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the York County Unit, American Cancer Society.
