Rose Kaplow Abraham of Del Ray Beach, Fla., a retired Village of Monticello Village Clerk and a longtime area resident, died at the Del Ray Medical Center in Del Ray, Fla., She was 83 years of age.
The daughter of the late Wolfe and Esther Cushalowitz, she was born April 19, 1917, in Leeds, England. She was the widow of Howard Kaplow and Morris Abraham.
Mrs. Abraham was a member of Temple Sholom Hadassah in Monticello and Deborah Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Kaplow of Rock Hill and N. Stewart Kaplow of Matawan, N.J.; three grandchildren, April, Ivan and Gary Kaplow; and several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Shiva will be observed through Sunday, March 11 at the family home in Rock Hill.
Services were held Thursday at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home in Monticello with Rabbi Irwin Tanenbaum officiating.
Burial was made in the Temple Beth Sholom Cemetery in Monticello.
