She was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Janesville, WI, the daughter of the late George and Edith (Barlass) Hill. Gladys graduated from Janesville High School in the class of 1936. She married Harold Quade Oct. 1, 1938, at St. John Lutheran Church, Janesville, WI. Gladys worked at the Pember-Nuzum Clinic, Janesville, and at the Edgerton Clinic for many years. She was the Treasurer for Town of Milton for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing cards and helping Harold on the farm. Gladys loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
