Miss Ollie Thompson, 83, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Wednesday, April 20, 1994, at a local nursing home. She was a retired music teacher and a member of Wood Memorial Christian Church, where she was the church organist for 50 years. The lifelong resident of Van buren was born December 31, 1910, the daughter of the late O.D. and Nellie Taft Thompson.
Survivors include two sisters; both of Fort Smith; one brother; of Van Buren; and a cousin of Van Buren.
Funeral service was held Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel with Dr. Will Sessions and the Rev. Bruce Breeding officiating. Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
