Miller Joseph Bordelon passed away on March 21, 2015. Miller served his country proudly while in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his sisters, Amy Johnson (Lloyd-deceased), Pearl Sommers (Paris), Eura Lee Kimball (Leroy), and Alice Bordelon as well as a step-daughter, Sherry Smith and three step-grandaughters and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernice M and Camile Bordelon as well as his siblings, Herman Bordelon (Ella Mae-deceased), Earline Spano, (Angelo-deceased), Audrey Johnson (Earl-deceased), Wilbon Bordelon (Dorothy) and Alven Bordelon (Barbara). Miller's family is from Avoyelles Parish. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 2015 at 4:00. Visitation will begin at 3:00. He will be buried at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at 11am.
