Harold, a fifth generation Texan and a 62 year resident of Jefferson County,served in the United States Air Force and was retired from Dupont-Beaumont Works. The highlight of his career was serving as an integral part of the initial and ongoing computerization of the plant.
An avid saltwater fisherman, he liked nothing better than taking his kids and their friends on fishing trips and inviting everyone over for a fish fry afterward. His grandchildren always held a very special place in his heart and their "Papa" always treasured the times he spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vivian E. Hock; parents, Henry V. Hock and Evelyn A. Swearingen Hock; brothers Virgil Hock and Reggie Hock.
He was survived by his daughter, Lisa Segura and husband Karl; son, Kerry W. Hock and son, John E. Hock and wife Soyean; brother, Larry Hock and wife Gay; brother, Carroll and sister, Sharon and many other dear friends, family members and loved ones. He was blessed with 3 grandchildren, Kellen Segura, Kane Segura and Kerry Elaine Hock.
Funeral services Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
