Mr. Booth suffered a heart attack May 31. Services were held yesterday at the Northern Lights church, Juneau, of which he had been pastor nearly twelve years.

Mr. Booth was born in 1900 in Birmingham, Ala., and received his education in the South. He served a few seasons as field agent of Missouri Valley college, Marshall, Mo., where his wife received her education. He later became pastor of the Presbyterian church in Clinton, Mo. Following that he served with the Presbyterian Ministers and Missionaries Benefit board with headquarters in St. Louis.

He left that work in 1941 to become pastor of the Presbyterian church in Sitka, Alaska, and superintendent of the Presbyterian missionary school for Eskimos in Sitka. Early in 1943 a vacancy occurred in the church in Juneau and Mr. Booth became pastor. He also was chaplain of the Alaskan Territorial Legislature.

His wife is the daughter of the late Beverly and Mamie Cassell of West Plains and Marshall, Mo., and a niece of Miss Georgia Cassell and Miss Catherine sell[sic] of Belton. A sister of Mr. Booth's, Mrs. Jesmine[sic] Fleming and her daughter, Miss Mary Rosa Fleming, both of Mebane, S. C., arrived in Kansas City last night.
