Mrs. Emma Abel Had Been Ill Several Weeks
The death of Mrs. Emma Abel, age 77, occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chester Rundell at Martinsville this morning at 10 o'clock. She had been seriously ill for several weeks.
Mrs. Abel was well known in Franklin, where her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Brown were pioneer undertakers.

For several years she has lived with her daughters, Mrs. Frank McNaughton of Muncie, and Mrs. Chester Rundell of Martinsville. Last fall, she visited her sister, Mrs. Zelia Barnhizer, before she went to California, and it was with great pleasure that she met the members of the Loyal Women's Class of Grace Methodist Sunday School, and the Academy Girls, both of which organizations she was a member.
