Mary Frances Brown, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday March 10, 2015.
A native of Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Brown and the late Ada Allen Smarr (John Russell). She was baptized on April 20, 1954 at Jacksonville Baptist Church, a graduate of Western High School and was a retired employee of Kentucky Textiles. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church where she was a member of the usher board, choir, missionary, culinary committee, pastor's aide and where ever she was needed; was also a member of the Marshall Heights Homemakers, American Legion, The Martin Luther King Day Celebration, Cedar Heights Cemetery Committee, MEY Committee and The Well.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three devoted daughters; Lavern Warfield, Joyce Brown of Atlanta, GA. and Annette Brown, one son; William K. Brown of Cincinnati, OH (Daphne), three granddaughters; Ashlee McCoy (Jeremy), Tristen Brown of Atlanta, GA and Ashley Ware of Cincinnati, OH, four grandsons; Bush Warfield, Jamile Brown, Deron "Ron Ron" Brown of Oakland, CA and Ja'Non Jones, an aunt; Geraldine Barham, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins (special cousin/brother, Donnie Badgett) and special friends.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by daughter; Scherl Brown Young, son; Micheal Brown, granddaughter; Moshea Brown, grandson; Micheal Eugene Young and brother, James Ray Marks.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Saturday March 14, 2014 until the hour of service at 12:00 PM at the First Christian Church, 911 High St., Paris, KY by Rev. Aaron Crumbie. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
