A remarkable woman passed from this life on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008. Survived by her husband, Fred Anepohl; son, Jack Philley; granddaughters, Laura Dixon, Belinda Bailey and Suzanne Moore; grandsons, Mike Monroe, David Monroe, Grant Norman and Daniel Norman; great-grandson, Joseph Dixon; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Dixon; stepdaughters, Jane Monroe and Dr. Mary Norman. Clarilynn was born in 1924 and grew up in Ville Platte, attended LSU, married Lt. Jack O. Philley (killed in action in World War II) in 1943, married Alfred Hall Williams (deceased) in 1967, and married to Fred Anepohl in 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents, Judge Hugo Dore and Emma Dore; sisters, Delmar Gulick and Betty May; brother, John Dore; and husbands Jack Philley and Alfred Hall Williams. Clarilynn lived life with zest, enthusiasm, and a sense of adventure. She traveled extensively, enjoying the company of her family and friends, and was an accomplished golfer. She retired after a career at Ethyl Corp. as a medical technologist and legal secretary in the international patents group. She approached everything with total effort, never going half-way in any endeavor, a doer not a watcher, often leaving the rest of us wondering where she got all her seemingly endless supply of energy. Visitation at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2025 Stuart Ave., on Monday, Nov. 24, from 10:30 a.m. until Mass at 11:30 a.m. Graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd. Pallbearers will be Nick Ferrera, Patrick Ferrera, Alan Boyd, David Norman, Mike Monroe, Scott Monroe, David Dixon and Cope Bailey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in memory of Clarilynn Anepohl to either St. Michael's Hospice Association, 10214 Inwood Road, Dallas TX, (214) 866-0233 or the Alzheimer's Association, (www.alz.org memorial donation), 225 N.
