Linda was born on April 13, 1956 to Wilbur and Nadene Troyer in Nampa, Idaho. She was the second of four children and enjoyed many childhood adventures with her brothers and sister. Linda vividly remembered many great camping trips and vacations. She attended Nampa Christian schools and graduated in 1974. She participated in many school activities and made many lifelong friends. She faithfully attended the Nampa Mennonite Church and Meridian Gospel Tabernacle. Linda worked several years at Idaho First National Bank and Ripley Doorn & Company. In 1990, she married John Berg in Meridian and they spent 15 fabulous years together and raised three wonderful children. She was a fixture at her kids sporting events and was always their number one fan. She actively volunteered at the various schools supporting her children and enjoyed her Moms In Touch prayer groups and the Eleven Special Ladies group. She worked in the kitchen at Pine Acres church youth camp. She enjoyed attending Boise State games and sports of all types. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved to work in her yard and garden. She also loved to cook, trying out new recipes and making special treats for holiday gifts. She was a tireless servant and volunteer, always giving to others and being supportive to her husband and children. Linda is survived by her husband John and her three children, Tyson, Spencer, and Haley of Meridian; her parents Wilbur and Nadene Troyer of Nampa; a sister Marjorie (Rick) Bollman of Boise, and two brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Troyer of Nampa, and Doyle (LeAnn) Troyer of Boise. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family suggests donations be made to the Mountain View High School Memorial Fund, 2000 Millennium Way, Meridian, ID 83642, or a favorite charity.
