Martha Ann Weaver Sharpless, age 83, passed away on November 17th, 2021. She was born in Booneville, AL to Audrey and Onnie Mae Weaver. She graduated from Escambia County High School and Alverson-Draughon Business College. Martha and her husband, John, were the owners of The Decorating Center in Atmore and Direct Carpets in Mobile before retiring in 2000 to Fairhope, AL. For the past two years she resided in Crossville, TN with her daughter and son-in-law. Some of Martha's interests included flowers, gardening and spending time outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John E. Sharpless; parents, Audrey and Onnie Mae Weaver; brother, O'Neal Weaver and sister, June Weaver Luker.

She is survived by her daughter, Holley Sharpless Richter and son-in-law, Dan Richter; granddaughters, Danielle Russell (Ryan) and Megan Richter; sister, Virginia Weaver Sharpless; brother, Jerry Weaver (Jeanette) along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at 10:00 am. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9am - 10am, followed by a private burial.
