Mary Frances Bell 77 of Hewett, Boone County, died Thursday, March 5, 2015.
She was born April 24, 1937 in Madison, the daughter of the late Ophrey and Irene Bias Spencer, and one brother and two sisters.
She was a member of Log Cabin Church, and obtained her beauty license in Washington, DC in the 1960’s. She later taught beauty school and worked as a beautician in Charleston, WV.
She is survived by her daughters; Pamela (Keith) Meikle of Wichita, KS, Jeana (Timmy) Kirk of Hewett and Leona Ball of Hewett; grandchildren; Bridget (Wally) Ball, and Gabrielle Holstein of Hewett, three great grandchildren; Ethan Howell of Van, Jon Ball of Hewett and Abrielle Lambert of Alum Creek, a sister; Marilyn McFadden of Charleston, plus numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 Log Cabin Church, Hewett, with Dennis Dent and Rev. Roger McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in Wallen Family Cemetery, Mikes Fork, Hewett.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the church.
