A native of Midland, he was born September 4 1879 a son of the late William and Kathryn (Moody) Fair. His wife Clarie Lillian Fair, died in 1949.
Mr. Fair was a retired mill worker for the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carl Hausrath, of Harpersville, MD., and Mrs. Catherine Hausrath, this city; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His body is at the George Funeral Home where the family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m., and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A requiem Mass for William Patrick Fair, 80, of 879 Patterson Avenue, who died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church and interment will be in the Belvedere Cemetery, Midland.
The rosary will be recited today at 8:15 p.m. at the George Funeral Home.
