Eldes Lee Brown, Jr.

Eldes Lee Brown, Jr. 55, of Russell Springs, KY, formerly of Harlan County, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the Russell County Hospital. Born December 27, 1959 in Harlan County, he worked as a coal miner for 22 years and believed in the Nazarene faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eldes Lee Brown, Sr. Eldes is survived by his wife Julia Annette Brown, Russell Springs, KY; his mother, Flora Mae Pierce Brown, Pensacola, FL; two sons, Christopher Brown, Harlan; and Dustin Brown, Russell Springs, KY; three sisters, Flo Soloe and Dovie Soloe, both of Florida, and Gail Chafin, Tennessee. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Christopher Brown, Matthew Brown, Jacob Brown and Jayce Brown.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Kreigh Hurst officiating.
