Eleanora "Laura" (Riportella) Auriemmo, was the fourth of seven children born to Rosa (nee Varvaro) and Leonardo Riportella on January 15, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY.
She married Ferdinand Auriemmo in 1946 and together they had a daughter and a son.
Laura tragically died as the result of a fall from a window she had been cleaning. She held on for a little more than three days, but ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
