Cramer, Walter Junior Comstock, MI Passed away on March 1, 2015. Age 82. Walter was born in Comstock on November 5, 1932. He graduated from Imlay City High School in 1950. He served with the United States Army. He loved his family and enjoyed attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting and school activities. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He loved to go on camping trips with his family and spent several vacations at Silver Lake. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Muriel (McMann) Cramer; children, Connie (Stan) Van Der Slik, Lisa (Jim) Bosch; daughter-in-law, Toni Cramer; grandchildren, Julie (Chad) Barnick, Andrea (Devon) Jackson, Tricia Van Der Slik, Eric Cramer, Emma Cramer, Zachary Cramer, Courtney Bosch, Allison Bosch and Olivia Bosch; great-grandchildren, Trinity and Corbin Barnick, Hudson and Grant Jackson; brothers and sisters, Henrietta (Rodger) Linders, Bernadene Dykstra, Herman (Darlene) Cramer, Lorraine Cramer, John (Betty) Cramer, Dean (Joanne) Cramer and Allen (Sally) Cramer; sisters-in-law, Shirley McMann, Arlene (Ted) Wanamaker and Louise (Mick) Blanchard; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Cramer; parents, Anna Hutt Cramer, Albert Cramer and Ann Stryker Cramer; brother, Vernon Cramer; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sterling and Mabel McMann; brothers-in-law, John Dykstra and Wilbur McMann. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Comstock Christian Reformed Church, 5300 Comstock Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. Pastor Ben Hulst will officiate with interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. Memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Christian School Association, directed to the athletic programs or Comstock Christian Reformed Church.
