Brian Eversole Brown, 24, of College Station, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at home with his family at his side, after battling brain cancer for the last 28 months. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015, at Central Baptist Church, College Station. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery of College Station.

Brian was born in Edmond, Oklahoma, to Bill and Janet Brown. He was home schooled and graduated in 2009. While in high school, he participated in sports at Brazos Christian School and after graduation continued his association with BCS as a volunteer coach and athletic trainer. Brian was a member of Central Baptist Church and participated in youth missions and served as a children's summer intern. He was a student in the Fire Science program at Blinn College and received his Texas EMTB certification. At the time of his diagnosis, he was a cadet in the TEEX's Fire Academy at Brayden Fire Field, College Station. He received the Outstanding Student Award Class 139. In December of 2014, Brian was named an Honorary Firefighter by the City of College Station's Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Margaret H. Eversole; paternal aunt, Karen Brown; and cousin, Carley Brown.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Janet Brown; brothers, Benjamin and Bradley, all of College Station; maternal grandfather, Donald L. Eversole and wife, Edna, of Plainview, Texas; paternal grandparents, Bill and MJ Brown, of Graham, Texas; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Y17
